Gary Jobsey BSc FCA (Principal)
Gary is a chartered accountant and maths graduate with many years and wide experience. After qualifying he spent the first part of his career in commerce, with 4 years at Tesco, initially as a senior internal auditor and then as assistant chief management accountant where he introduced computer modelling using APL. He then went on to work in the Currys Group and then joined the board of a subsidiary within the Lloyds Bank, Black Horse Agencies Group. He worked there for 8 years and helped to take the company from 20 branches up to 120 branches with over 1,000 staff.
Following the disposal of the Black Horse Group to Abbey Life, Gary decided to become independent and used some of his computing and financial modelling skills using Excel with VBA, and then Visual FoxPro, and SQL Server to work for companies such as BT International, Xerox, First Telecom, Euphony, Eurotunnel and top 10 accountancy firm PKF.
Since 2001, Gary has worked exclusively in building and developing his own practice from home concentrating on providing first class accountancy and tax services to small businesses and individuals. In his spare time he also acts as honorary treasurer to theHavergal Brian Society andRobert Simpson Society.
Gary is married to Patricia who also works in the firm. Patricia is a chartered accountant with a first class honours degree from the LSE. She previously worked in Commerce as a finance director for a Housing Association. She is also an honorary treasurer at All Saints Church, Kings Langley.
